Medida Provisória garante alíquota zero na importação de medicamentos por remessas internacionais realizadas por pessoas físicas

O Governo Federal publicou, hoje (25), a Medida Provisória 1271/2024 que estabelece alíquota zero, até 31 de março de 2025, do Imposto de Importação incidente sobre medicamentos importados por pessoas físicas no âmbito do Regime de Tributação Simplificada – RTS, até o limite de US$ 10.000,00

A Medida Provisória ainda promove uma série de ajustes formais nas importações realizadas por intermédio de empresas de comércio eletrônico no âmbito do RTS, visando facilitar e agilizar a liberação das mercadorias importadas.

A Receita Federal esclarece que não há qualquer alteração na alíquota de 20% incidente nas importações de até US$ 50,00 no âmbito do Programa do Remessa Conforme.

As medidas não ocasionam renúncia de receitas tributárias.
