Receita Federal suspenderá CNPJ de estabelecimentos que vendam cigarros eletrônicos e convencionais contrabandeados

Medida se aplica a produtos produtos proibidos, especialmente cigarros eletrônicos e vapes, e passará a valer em 10 dias

A Receita Federal suspenderá o CNPJ de entidades ou estabelecimentos filiais, caso sejam constatadas a realização de atividades de comercialização, exposição, armazenamento, guarda ou transporte de produtos proibidos, que representem potencial risco à saúde pública, ao meio ambiente ou à segurança, tais como cigarros eletrônicos, vapes, fumígenos, entre outros, especialmente durante operações de combate ao contrabando, descaminho, tráfico internacional de drogas e lavagem de dinheiro, sem prejuízo das demais sanções cabíveis.

Trata-se de medidas essencial para o combate ao crime organizado e à lavagem de dinheiro no Brasil.

A medida está prevista na Instrução Normativa RFB 2.229, publicada no Diário Oficial da União de hoje (15) e entrará em vigor 10 (dez) dias após sua publicação.
